Help Newbie 147 wiring query

Hello all, have just bought a 2001 147 1.6 lusso, and am very pleased with my first Alfa,( Have had Lancias for the last 21 years, and still have my Fulvia 1600HF. The problem i have is, the airbag light will not go off, i have heard of problems with wiring under the seats, i have checked connectors and they seem ok, or should i cut and solid rewire them and get rid of the yellow connector?, next thing is , there are 2 wires that come out of the loom under the seat that comes out of the carpet, 1 wire is orange/pink i think, and the other is blue possibly, they are thin so will not carry much current, question is where are these meant to connect to? and what are they for, and are they something to with the airbag system. And where do the 2 black wires that have been cut, that were connected to seat belt clasp connect to? and last but not least, anyone got any idea how to rectify the problem thanks Roger

You reset the air bag light with a software app on a laptop either FiatEcuScan or AlfaDiag and a suitable interface cable with a small wiring mod .. first it tells you what the real problem is by reading the fault codes then you can reset it.

But you may be beyond the point of no return now ...
