Keep on top of all fluid levels (oil and water) regular servicing and you would have to be a hooligan to cause engine wear and notice a loss of power from that in just a couple of months.
It is more likely that you have broken something or that a sensor is beginning to fail.
You have not stated how many miles the engine has done, what service history you have for the car or how well you have cared for it.
Unless you have the skills and equipment to do it yourself get it to a specialist, have the ECU codes read and a full service carried out. Also tell them that it seems to have lost power recently and ask them to diagnose that.
You haven't said where you are based so it is difficult to make any recommendations.
