GT suspension - few questions

Hello, alfisti
I found a very nice offer about GT 3.2, so I took a look at it and... I fell in love
The problem is that I want a decent ride quality (something like my current alfa 156 2.0TS), because I'll use it for long distance journeys in the summer. So the questions are:
1. What is the ride quality in Alfa GT like, is it a lot firmer than alfa 156?
2. Is it possible to soften it with aftermarket parts (even if sacraficing stability)?
3. Are there any differences in suspension settings between GT3.2 and smaller GT's?
4. Is the ride height much lower than standart 156?

Thanks in advance!

The gt shares the same suspension as the 156 and 147. You say yours is low so perhaps you have aftermarket springs and dampers on it. Have you looked in the wheel arch to see if anything is obviously modified. Gt rides at a similar height to the 156/147 when standard

The ride in my GT is actually bloody awful. Improves on the motorway a bit but still causes the CD Changer to skip .
I can forgive it though.
