1.8 brava you will have exaltos
well, its a bravO, and those are aftermarket alloys, so just how do you conclude what tyres i would be using, other than by reading my post which says which tyres i'm using.
a friend of mine works as a fitter at a michelin only depot. which is why i bought michelin in the first place. spoken to him and i was wrong about longevity. he says the primacy will last longer mainly because they are normally driven on by folk who DONT drive hard. he says my Pilot Exaltos (didn't mean to add the word sport) should last better than most, even driven hard.
when i said primacy were old-man tyres, i didn't mean they weren't cool. tyres are there for function, not form. (thats what the rest of the bodystyling is for) What i meant was that primacy belong on the kind of car 60 yr old men drive, ie volvo estates, and skoda octavias etc. not sporty tarmac-terrorists, and race-cars
btw, those tyres in the pics have been replaced. actually, the wheels have too! gone down to 16" OZ Superturismos with the exalto 2, and as i said, am impressed. much of the change will be down to the tyre profile change, and also the weight change. those OZ wheels weigh a helluva lot less than what the 17" wolfrace matrix did! its now wearing 195/45/16 boots instead of 205/40/17
also, just for Chris's benefit, i did say
in a year or so, i'll let you know how long they last
so there's no need for you to get offended Chris. did you by any chance buy pilot primacy, and then find they weren't sporty enough for your driving style?? i'll shut up now, because i dont know you, and this thread is about recommending tyres that we've had experience with, not being a know-it-all..
