Use of Millers DPP in a JTD

I've been using Millers Diesel Power Plus additive in my 16v JTD over the last 3 tank fulls and on each top-up the mpg has dropped from 42 to 37 ish.

Have any other JTD drivers used the stuff and if so is my experience typical? It is supposed to reduce consumption after all, I feel I'm wasting money despite on other forum people swearing by (rather than at) the stuff. There has not been any significant changes in my driving over the period and I'm getting just a bit confused.

Any comments (polite ones) welcome!

Never used it. I'm a bit sceptical of any wonder potion to be honest.

Except Johnnie Walker Black Label - that does wonders for my brain. I'm sure of it.

Millers stuff is usually pretty good though. Give their technical helpline a ring and see what they suggest. Freephone 0800 281053.

I use it and find it can reduce MPG if I haven't used it for a while. This drop in MPG is usually accompanied by excess smoke, indicative of the stuff cleaning the crud from my fuel system and cleaning the injectors. On the next refill I get better MPG than usual (or use the extra power....)
