147 impact on passenger side causing car to head right?
Bit of a saga with repair of Alf.
Other party impacted passenger side front wheel and wing and pushed driver side into kerb (parked facing oncoming traffic).
Front wheel bearings replaced on both sides, couple of suspension components on driver side.
Now I pointed out to repairer that car did not feel right, with steering a little stiffer off centre, not so good at self-centering plus little but of drift to right if you take hands off the wheel.
So repairer as final check put car to another garage which has latest laser alignment system and someone who can use it properly.
Appears the passenger side alignment is out but they will have to apply head to track rod, etc to adjust.
I would have expected the repairer to have done this post repair, but he advises that alignment checked out ok on his machine but this other garage has more accurate equipment.
I'm inclined to think that no real alignment check done post repair as if the repairer does this day in day out they should have accurate alignment equipment.
