Hmmm Tyres for 156 V6

took my 156 V6 to get new brakes and found out my tyres were completely bald on the inside, obviously need 4 new tyres now and the brakes done! is this normal for the tyres to only go on the inside of the wheels as I had a quick check of the tyres and on the outer of the wheel there was still plenty of tread, mechanics told me that Alfa's run on inverse camber same as Beamers

You need to get the tracking checked.
The car does have -ve camber, but it isn't excessive and isn't the reason for inner edge wear.
Inner edge wear is caused by having toe-out on the front wheels which means the tyres are being dragged slightly sideways when driving in a straight line, that quickly rips the inner edge off.

Set the front toe to 0mm and they will be fine.
Rear toe IS also adjustable and needs 3mm toe-in.

FYI you need minimum "W" rated tyres on the v6.

Rear tread wear usually indicates the bushes are starting to soften up in the transverse arms and possibly also the hub and trailing arms.

As DavidC says, the rear can be adjusted via cam-bolts through one pair of the transverse arms and the alloy cross-member, but if they haven't been touched they will be very stiff due to corrosion.
