After changing 4 of them you get to know a lot of things
...not to say it loud but my philips H6W are lasting much much longer then the factory fitted GE and then the Osram.
Tpiace, main beams (high beams) are H7 on the 147
...not H1 like on the 156...sorry to say that but the 147 is technologcly supperior to the 156
The factory fitted Xenons are 4400K...colour temp...understend bright white colour...when they are fully warmed. Philips Blue Vision claim 4000K...while normal halogen bulbs are around 3200K.
The human eye focuses on the brither more powerful light source in our case it is the xenon light whish is about 300% more powerful then the halogen bulb...and when you turn the mean beams(high) you dont see much diffrence...because the eye needs time to adapt to the lower light, BUT it doesnt adapt to it, because the xenon light is still there. Get my point. While Philips BlueVision thanks to its colour will be better then philips Vision plus even that its light output is less then the VisionPlus...or
4000K is much closer to 4400K and the eye will see more light...while 3200K is far away from 4400K.
I never tryed this but this is what should happen in real world...I have the PhilipsVisionPlus which according to me are the best halogen bulbs...and I tryed OSram SilverStar as well (hate Osram since then). When one of the Visionplus blowns away I will fit the BlueVision...
If you buy BlueVision share with us what happend...even if you dont still share
