Looky Looky Exhaust Hangers 156/147 Alternative

This little discovery may be of interest to anyone who is looking to replace the exhaust rubber hangers on a 156/147.
Alfa OEM part number 51854825 that is the red/orange coloured hangers fitted at the fore end on a 156 you should have 4 of these.
From the main stealers they retail for 8.80 inc vat.
On eBay I spotted the exact same item but in a different colour "black" but genuine items exactly the same dimensions sold by "Desira" a Fiat/Alfa dealers.
These are designated for a Fiat Ducato, under part number 51854824, notice the last digit
is "4" so I asked them to compare the part with the Alfa part number ending in "5".
A good response, the guy compared dimension s and agreed that they are identical, (except for the colour) and the reason I have taken the trouble to tell you this is the price difference. 4.49 each.
They have the safety strap and are exactly the same thing.
63mm long x 45mm wide x 25mm thick, hole dia = 11.7mm centres 33mm
Hope this bit of info helps.

I get them from eurocarparts not the same quality as original but under 1.50 each and handy cos i often have to cut originals off to get them off even when they arer split and the replacements are a sound fit.

Clone exhaust rubber hanger for 147 /GT

Very interested to see this as I need some for our GT. When I browse on the parts website mentioned above no rubber clamps come up? Am I being a muppet!?

Don't waste your money with the Euro Car parts ones. They last around a year before snapping.

The ECP ones aren't the right size, they're impossible to get on. The originals are far far better anyway.

I guess it would be these the OP was talking about

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Genuin...8AAOSwgZ1XtXuz

But you can get Poly ones for nearly the same price

Just for info in case anyone looking at Powerflex poly exhaust hanger.
For my TS I've fitted EXH005. No issue with stock exhaust. However does not work too well with the CSC backbox. Think the correct one would be EXH015 in this case.
