losing clutch pressure when driving
I am really hoping someone can help me here, I have a bit of a saga with my clutch hydraulics that have been ongoing for 3 month now!!
the current problem is that the clutch seem to be drawing in air, It ahs been in the garage a few times now, it has had a new slave cylinder seal and an entire new master cylinder.
after it is bleed the pedal has plenty of pressure, you can drive about town and its fine but.... as soon as you take it on a longer trip (I mean maybe 5-10 miles) in 4th or 5th gear the pedal starts to lose resistance / pressure and I need to pump it to get enough pressure to change gear.
then I open the bleed nipple and out comes a load of air, I have lost count of the amount of times its been bead by the garage (both pressure and gravity) and by me yet every time I drive any distance in the same gear the pressure drops.
I have seen some similar posts but most seem to say bleed off the air which has been done and the pedal comes back until I drive any distance in the same gear then it builds up again.
