gt diesel oil cooler
hi all , i have read numerous posts about corroding oil coolers and hoses etc, mine is suffering with the same problems, whilst assesing the replacement of these parts i noted the the cooler oil feed and return both come in from the bottom of the cooler which surley must mean that the oil cooler must suffer with air lock towards the top half of the cooler? as air will always go to top.
i work in the plant hire repair industry where most items of plant have oil coolers fitted, they all feed oil from top to bottom of the cooling rad to ensure the coolers are full with oil.
anybody else got any ideas?
