firstly can I thank everyone for their replies and knowledge I am receiving as a new Alfa owner. But
I love the Q2 but I think it's trying to kill me
I've drove rear wheel drive cars for most of my driving life, so getting back into a FWD is at the moment daunting.
Now is it me the car or something else. When the road is wet (not soaking just wet) on taking roundabouts or bends (with a roundabout type curve (sorry can't say what type of angle / geomatory) I feel the front wheels and the car starting to slide, now i'm not hitting these at sound barrier speed more like 15-20mph and to tell you the truth it scares the be-jesus out of me
so it's of the gas and feed her round slowly, which is embarassing when some spotty oink in a corsa undertakes me with a grin bigger than the size of his manhood and his equally spotty oink friends crammed in the back causing the tunnel sized exhaust to emit a colourful shower of sparks last seen in the welding scene of footloose.
Now i'm sure the Q2 has a Ltd slip dif. & everything else electronic, so isn't this meant to help in these kinds if conditions.
I have the factory wheels fitted 17" and Mitchelin pilots with near as dam it full tread.
So if there is a Mr Spock guy out there who can real off the tech stuff in english for me I would be most grateful, and be able to live another day admiring my Alfa.
