FES Lambda sensor readings
Recently had the MSCF light up, I have a 156 JTS 05 plate, 64k miles.
My local friendly "indy" checked the fault codes, P1172 and I think 3000, 3001 then reset the system. He was going to have a think and then give me a call, he thought it was a fuelling problem. I did a little research and thought a good place to start was the MAF sensor. This was removed and cleaned with Electrical contact cleaner, then replaced. The car felt an awful lot smoother and responsive especially from idle (it always get pretty good anyway) so really quite happy.
The warning light returned 2 days later, stayed with me for 2 days, then disappeared.
I downloaded FES and bought some cables from Gendan. I explained the above to the man from Gendan who thought probably Lambda sensors as the MAF was more robust than people give it credit for.
I plugged in FES today. Fault codes found P1172, 1151, 1155 & 0139.
I then logged the values of the Lambda 1&2 pre cat 1.45volts and Lambda 1&2 post cat 0.46volts.
I went to the graph tab, started the engine and logged the results.
QUESTION, I read somewhere that the pre cat value should be between 0.2 to 0.8 volts, is that true???????
I ran the engine for 90 sec's from cold and saved the results, please see attached.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
