Hmmm Access to upper fuse box???

Hiya, newbie Alfa owner, 156 2003 2.4jtd lusso.

Quick question, and probably a silly one, but I'm trying to check the rear window fuse. I'm trying to access the upper fuse box on the drivers side, but I can't access it through the removable flap. Is there a simple way to access it without removing the whole steering shroud??

its above the main fuse panel, there are 3 'cages' that cover the 3 sets of fuses, squeeze the cage in the centre to remove. its a fiddley job. removing the steering wheel won' give you any better access
