trouble starting 147 JTD

I drive a 147 JTD, and it has been great, good performance and excellent fuel consumption!
I have one problem. It seems that when it is either driven hard or hot conditions, and after standing for a few minutes or even hours, it will not start. What I have also noticed is that the revcounter does not move while cranking. Would it be the crank shaft sensor? it will always start again after a few minutes...or hours...and once it fires up, it can be a week before it does it again, and when it does, I have to leave for hours....ok if it is at girlfriends place.......but not always a bonus break dowm....dont think this it is the glowplug relay, as it should start eventually ...right?...i think!

you guys have any ideas??

Sounds like crankshaft sensor fault
