Re: Rear trailing arm play at hub
I got a price from EB SPares today for the Polyu bushes and to ship a pair to Ireland, it'll cost me about €60. The standard stock ones from AR are only €15/pair. Also, the trailing arms are €75 each and they come with the front bush installed.
I'm not sure it's worth my while putting in the polyu bushes for the extra cost. Would they really last 4 times longer? Also, I need to take into consideration that the mileage that's going to be done on the car from March onwards will be reducing from 12k/year to about 4-5k/year due to job change and the road conditions will be a lot better, so if the std stock ones last about 30k, I should be ok for min. 5 yrs with them.
I'm gonna have a go at replacing them on the weekend, weather permitting...did you manage to find out any torque settings for the bolts for the trailing arm?
