I am with 147 (dont kill me)
My main beams have the Philips VisionPlus (after I fitted the HID on the dipped beams)...the left one is just a little high, but the right one points too high...opposite problem
...anyways the diffrence between dipped and main beams is so small that there is no point of buiyng expensive bulbs...and you can see how yellow is halogen light...
A solution might be Philips BlueVision...at least it will get closer to the Xenon light colour output and you might see more...cause the eye focuses on the brighter light...and the normal halogen is too dark 3200K....if blue vision 4000K (or that is what they say) brings it closer to xenon 4400K colour then you might see more...even that actually you see less...
btw...my left leveing motor doesnt work as well...it works some time it doesn at other times....it makes funny noises some times when you switch on the lights...any solution??? it seems as a loose connection....I dont want to go to the dealer I don trust them even to change my oil
...even I have to pay something...(car is still in warrenty)
p.s: is there a way to adjust the main beams only???
I checked how i fitted the bulbs yestarday and they are the way they shoul be fitted...((Strange thing is that their beam patter is like circle cut in half but you get the upper part on the road not the lower one))...because the main, dipped an hallogen all use one reflector in the 147...in the 156 I think dipped and main use the same reflector...I dont think that we can adjust the main beam without effection the horizontal leveling of the headlapm
