what to use to hide scuff mark.

hi the other day my cluch failed 20 miles from my house, so had to borrow a tow bar an get my m8 to tow me home, but the bar was chafing off the front bumper as i was getting towed, an has left light scuffing. what is the best stuff to mask this, t-cut ect? regards ryan

Hi gup23 if the laquer is not broken you may be able to remove the scuff using 1200 grit paper with plenty of water but be careful not to break through the clear laquer otherwise you will have to consider a local paint repair. Once you have done that use g3 cutting compound over the whole repair followed by t cut/polish gradually working outward from the scuffed area. If yuo were nearer I would be glad to do it for you.
