...and I'm not talking about hockey!!!
Today, driving home from work, in a crossroad, I stoped behind a car...
Well nothing weird about that... but then after the car went away before me I lift my foot off the clutch and the car dies... well that was expected as I didn't notice I had but 4th gear on instead of 1st.......
but then... Starting the car... I turn the key and the engine just gives me a "whhhhsssssssssssssss" noise (like the starter motor or something spinning) but nothing happens... Then try it again and again but it just does the same thing... then I take the key out and wait for ~20 seconds ... reinsert key, turn, and "whhhhsssssssssssss" .... but I don't give up... I keep the key turned and press the acce. pedal to the bottom and then the engine starts to keep a faint noise of actually beign on... this goes on for ~5 seconds and then "WHAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMM" the revs jump and the car starts................. any ideas anyone???
The engine has done the same "spinning" noise and not started in the past too, when it's been really wet... but previously it has started normally when turning the key second time
It haven't been very dry here lately, so I can't really tell if it does it only when it's wet... but when it has done so, it's been really wet!!!
And if you do not know, I'm driving a ' 98 156 1.6 TS !
And please PLEASE, do not hijack this thread and make it a circus PLEASE !!!
