NOP ! but it seems to do the same job as an induction kit. Although more cleverly installed hidden in the airintake hose ....

Do me a favour

Swirling airflow? err sounds like turbulent airflow to me. Turbulent = lower actual pressure=bad. Always viewed this sort of thing with a raised eyebrow and my wallet firmly left in my pocket.

Re: Turbonator

Actually a swirl is ok and prevents smooths turbulence. I don`t think it will work very well though, but would try one out if it was a fiver. $69 - forget it.

Re: Turbonator

Despite the testimonials, I can't see how it can work; it's upstream of the throttle, so whilst turbulent flow is better for combustion, you've got a throttle body and a load of manifolds in the way before you get anywhere near the cylinder itself. Only thing I can think of is that it affects your MAF somehow, but I'm deeply suspicious

Re: Turbonator

These things are complete *********, just like the Ecotek widget I had. Maybe they work in older cars with badly designed intakes, but not in your lovely modern Alfa. They make funny gurgling noises and do diddly squat (is my opinion anyway). Grrrrrr!!!

Re: Turbonator

This mod will make your car faster for sure...if you pay all in coins that is.
The reduction in weight will definitely help you go faster.
