Hello there alfisti,
My first time on this board, excellent forum I must say. I bought a 51 plate 147 1.6 lusso a coupla months back, lovely car in Africa grey.
Anyways, looks like my variotor has started to play up so thats gonna need seeing to. It's done 41K so it's time for a cambelt change I guess. Just wanted to know exactly what belts I should do, the cambelt obviously, shoudl I have the timing belt done aswell? If anyone could post a complete listing of what needs to be done I would appreciate it.
Does anyone have any experience with motorvogue in Northampton? As they are my closest alfa dealer.
Back to the topic of discussion, I check my oil level quite regularly and use fully synth 5w40. It guzzles the *****, probably to be expected. When I check my oil there is a difference in readings between one side of the dipstick and the other.
The side facing away from you is exactly halfway, the side facing me is about 200ml higher, is this odd? Which side should I be paying attention to?
Thanks in advance for any replies, and once again, excellent forum.
