Lick He's staying

Well, Alfie was going to be sold but not anymore.

I got a job much closer to home and I wanted to get something with a drop top BUT I have decided to keep him and I sent a set of blackline alloys off for a refurb.

I would like to echo the comments on the "other marques thread" - whilst researching the drop tops, I discovered that the forums are pants and the posters lack the enthusiasm of this place - just when I was about to get out, you pulled me back in.

SAD TIMES - came out of the house a couple of days ago and a wheelie bin had managed to bump up to my car and slap it's lid across the bonnet during the night. Alfie now has a scar on his face - bin has been burned.

good news ...apart from those pesky wheelie bins

I saw them blowing over the other day and made sure not were in the vicinity of my GT. I was also worried about a slate coming off my roof when it was really windy and parked a bit further back down my drive. These cars make you paranoid!

Bloomin wheelie bins. The garden is full of the car destroying buggers these days too!

Just a thought. Depending on space and funds, maybe buy an older Alfa Spider (and keep the GT ) they are quite cheap. Going to the right insurance company will get cheap limited mileage classic insurance
