I replaced them all. You can get them tested, but it takes time, which was more of a nuissance than replacing them.
The injectors cost £65/each and there are 4 of them. I did it working with/assisting my mechanic, and it took under 5 hours.
The problem I had was working through other possibilities to get to the point of knowing it was the injectors- I replaced other things first, which I probably didn't need to. The ECU fault codes are not very specific. Knowing what I know now about injectors in JTS engines, I would go straight there if I had it again- although I doubt I'll still have the same Alfa in another 50k!
There are not that many JTS engines around (particularly in 156's) and other engines don't suffer the same injector issue, so people don't generally think to go there straight away.
That said, it is a great responsive engine, and I have enjoyed (and still do enjoy) this car more than any other I have owned.
