Does this work?
I was reading a Spanish ex.pats forum & was surprised to read the following;
If it rains "cats & dogs" like it is prone to do in Spain, & your wipers can't cope then put on a pair of sun glasses even if it is dark. The author stated that you will be able to see the rain hitting the ground, windscreen & car bonnet but not the rain lashing down in front of you, you should also reduce the wiper speed to normal.
The other topic was that you should never use cruise control in wet weather as it can lead to aqua-plaining. Toyota have some models that switch off the cruise when the wipers are switched on. Must admit I have never felt safe using cruise in the wet, but I can't recall ever seeing any warnings.
Throw only toilet paper at the W.C. anything other may cause a breakage to the engine. Grazie (Roma 1990)
