Airflow meter CF2 or CF3

Hi all, my mechanic replaced the airflow meter with a CF3. It should have been a CF2 but he had none is stock. Car performs really well but I am not sure what the downside might be (apart from the expense). Could this cause any long term problems? Thanks

Did he change just the MAF or the complete unit with the external pipe?

If the just the sensor, then it's probably the same part anyway as many cars share the electronic sensor.

If the complete unit, then the part number will be on the black plastic pipe. Post it here and we can tell you if it's right or wrong.
