I was wondering if anybody has a volumetric sensor for the alfa 156 t-spark. One of mine has stopped working, and is causing the alarm to give off a second beep after setting.
If anybody knows of another reason that this scould be happening, then your help would be greatly apprdiated.
Also could anybody recommend a good alfa servicer in the Huddersfield area, will travel if very good, but cost effective.
Does the alarm actually set? Do the indicators flash the second time? The alarm won't set if the boot is open or one of the doors are open. Maybe you have a faulty boot or door sensor?
I have tested the alarm using the manual testing proceedure, as detailed in the workshop manual. By doing this I have tested all of the doors and the bonnet and the boot, and they all appear to be working OK. By carrying out the manual test the fault points to the interior volumetric sensors. When I have set the alarm and the initial one beep of the alarm, and one flash of the indicators has activated, upon walking away from the vehicle another beep is heard, but with no indication from the indicators, according to the owners manual, this indicates that there is a fault with the alarm.
Because I beleiive that the fault is with the volumetric sensors, I would like to know where I might be able to find one for sale within this forum.
Any help regarding this matter would be greatly apprieciated.
