OK so heres another selespeed mystery, I haven't been on for a while but I'm so fed up with the selespeed now!
The pump had been priming every few gear changes much more than it should by all accounts. Also if the car is left running in (N) for a while you cannot select any gears until you give the pump a knock.
Now, I know you are thinking either 1/ relay or 2/ accumulator
1/ Relays - trust me I have cleaned them all, including the 20-pin connector etc.
2/ Accumulator - Fitted a new one today, made no difference at all (£88 down the drain then - anyone interested in buying it actually??)
When the door is opened after a while of inactivity i.e. in the morning it primes for 7-9 seconds as it should.
Clutch rod is set at nearly exactly 28mm.
Selespeed level in reservoir is fine, never loose any fluid...
Battery is good and less than a year old..
Pressure is running around 45bar..
No error codes at all..
So is it the pump? Please don't let it be so
