Passenger seat pad airbag sensor- Resistor
Right having changed my front seats in my 99 plate 2.5v6 with ones from a sportswagon from 2004, I obviously now have the dreaded airbag light.
So after lots of reading on here and other forums the solution so I thought was to solder in a 2ohm, so I used a 2ohm 3watt resistor from Maplins.
Plugged this into my mates snapon reader, which read the codes fine etc and cleared the codes, but they can straight back.
So after a little more reading I'm finding conficting information regarding the resistor required, some threads suggest 1 ohm, 2 ohm 2.2ohm 4 ohm etc etc.
Which one is correct as I now know 2ohm isn't correct, and I don't fancy trying all the different resistors, as I have to borrow my mates code reader every time.
Thanks for any advice
