sorting out the 156 v6 suspension - spring choice...
i woudl like to sort out my v6 suspension... its crashy over bumps and wallows in low speed sharp corners which is very off putting...
i was tossing up three possibilities:
1) std springs + bilstein b6s
2) eibach pro-kit + b6s (b12s)
3) bilstein b14 coil overs
i know there is a fair amount of good reviews about choice 2) but i don't wanna risk bottoming out.... there are high speed humps that i scrape on totally stock and slowed down... also some steep driveways...
ideally b/c the front gap is quite large stock i wouldn't mind a drop on stiffer springs - but 3cm is a lot... i would love a 15mm drop or 20mm max... i also don't like the front down stance i see on a lot of pro-kit lowered 156s i've seen...also at 3cm drop i could face rapid tyre wear as well?
any spacer kits out there for the pro-kit?
or are the pro-kit fine in retaining a good ride? i did have a drive of a 'lowered eibach car' dunno what was in it exactly but it rattled and scraped on everything and was just aweful!! i think he said it was 40mm or maybe 50mm drop (sportline?) but basically if i paid $1k to make my car a mess i'd be ****ed...
look forward to any input!
