Im looking to fit a subwoofer in the boot of my 147.
I know absoloutely nothing about subs in car audio systems so any help greatly appreciated. Especially on how to wire one up.
I want the install to be as discreet as possible and not to use much boot space. Ive seen specially made enclosures that fit around a wheel arch in the boot and this would be ideal for my needs but I cant find anyone who offers one for the 147 ! The usual square boxes are just not an option unfortunately
Can anyone explain to me where the bose system has the subwoofer ?
And also where the cable for the sub can be found (If its in my car)
Surely this must be the most discreet way of installing a sub ?
I would rather not have to use an amplifier if thats at all possible ??
I know this is not the best way to run a sub by any means but I need to retain the boot space.
Ive read somewhere that subs exist with there own built in amps but havent been able to find any.
Can you run a sub directly from the headunit ?
Headunit is a Blaupunky Los Angeles MP72, Focal 165CA front speakers, standard rears
Its all so confusing to a n00b like me
