Written off Alfa 147
Am new to the forum so apologies if this is in wrong place, but...
I recently had small collision (my fault) in our 2002 Alfa 147 - resulted in minor damage to bumber, bonnet and headlight but still perfectly driveable (and a lovely car!)
It's been declared a write-off by the Insurance Company, but we've bought it back.
I'm not sure what the best thing to do with the car is? We're buying a new motor so not planning to repair and continue to drive, but would like to get a bit of money out of it.
It's a 2.0 litre lusso with full leather, 80K miles, metallic paint, 5 door. Obviously now needs a new MOT and potentially VIC - but I don't want to spend money on that given we're buying a new car.
Is the best thing just to take it to scrapyard or is there any other option??? Ebay?
Any thoughts appreciated! I am based around Oxford.
