2.4 JTD 10v Turbo Removal?
I'm in the process of removing the turbo on my 2001 156 2.4 JTD 10v.
So far I've removed the exhaust front pipe, the lower intercooler pipe, the air intake pipe onto the turbo, the guard covering the oil drain pipe.
I'm now trying to acquire a 6mm hex driver so I can get a breaker bar on it to remove the EGR pipe.
My main question is, how do I get to the 2 bolts at the back of the turbo to split it from the manifold? Or is it easier to just take the manifold off with the turbo?
I've tried loading the 156 DTE up with little sucess so I'm just going by what I can see.
Oh the joys of Alfa ownership.... poxy seized VNT vanes!
