Alfa 147 1.6TS 120Hp with 105Hp spark plugs
I'm new here, have read the topics relevant to the sparkplugs but have a question.
I installed on the Alfa 147 2001, 1.6TS 120HP motor the spark plugs for the 105Hp. Is it a problem? (see bellow why that happened).
Installed are: BKUR6ETB and CR7EK instead of BKR6EKPA and PMR7A.
I bought the sparkplugs from Alfa dealership/workshop (pm for details of where), they checked the registration and gave me the 'right parts for your car' --> 'are you sure?' --> 'Yes they are the right parts' etc etc.
I didn't open boxes to check the spark part no. for 120Hp (BKR6EKPA and PMR7A) cause they checked the registration number. Spark plugs that are removed from the car are for the 120Hp.
Anyway, the 105Hp plugs (BKUR6ETB and CR7EK) have 3 and 2 pins instead of 2 and 1 for the 120Hp ones, and probably aren't platinum.
Will it cause problems? The plugs are on, the car runs, no dramas so far but should I get the 120Hp ones? The 105Hp were cheaper they didn't charge me for 120Hp giving me 105Hp. The plugs on the car were for 120Hp. NGK website indicates BKR6EKPA and PMR7A for all 1.6TS motors.
Please reply if possible to avoid damage.
