Bit sceptical when software on my laptop said you can remove a rear strut in 0.95 hours. Actually it wasn't far off ...
Apart from the 45 minutes that I had to spend first removing the boot lining .. or at least the floor and nearside sections.
Top nut came undone easily which was the one I was most concerned about as I'd need a deep offset spanner to turn and hold the strut centre rod with a hex key at same time.
When I replaced the transverse arms a few years ago, I replaced the long bolt so that was fairly easy to remove. The upper one was a bit harder as it rusts inside the hub fitment. Lots of penetrating fluid and wiggling it back and forth eventually broke the rust that was holding it. A sharp tug on the strut and it was out.
Even managed to remove the spring and upper mounting ...
Now to clean up the mounting and rubber parts, and the body where the mount sits has some loose rust.
