New turbo fitted. Help please.
Hi again everyone.
Finally I managed to get my replacement turbo fitted. Now I am just a bit worried as it's still blowing a lot of smoke out the exhaust. I cleaned all the parts apart from the exhaust when the last turbo blew.
I cleaned all the corresponding pipes, intercooler and changed the oils and filters as per my older thread.
I understand there may be standing oil trapped I. The exhaust but was under the impression it would eventually burn out. If the car is sat idle and revs are given then no smoke or very little. When the car is moving it gives out smoke and sometimes dies down and if I come to a stop after taking the car for a drive then smoke takes about a minute to die down again.
Do you think there is standing oil still trapped after about 5 miles running and about 20 minutes stood on idle?
Im confussed to say the least and worried it is something else.
Any help or response would be greatly appreciated.
