Can't compare with a diesel of course, but at least my engine pulls from 1250 rpm to 7000 rpm. Sorry guys, but for my money you but can keep your narrow-band, smelly-fuelled, rattle-box JTDs!!!
sometimes, someone turns up who really doesn't know the full picture.
someone else not long ago had a dig at the smelly diesel.
firstly your car could'nt pull the skin off boiled milk at 1250 rpm and if you think it can,you do not know what torque,[real pulling power]is.
narrow band. something that petrol heads complain about in a diesel,
yet accept it when it comes to racing cars, yet the band is only narrow to petrolheads because you need to rev your petrol cars hard before it will move,we do not need to, because we have all the torque, and how often do you get to rev your car to 7000rpm on these roads. smelly, perhaps some are, but only some.yet petrolcars cats smell far worse when hot, diesels do not.
rattlebox, well lets sit at 90mph and see which one rattles the more, you may be in for a shock, unless you mean at tickover,in which case i hate the loud noise that petrol cars make when reved hard, because unless you rev them hard you get no where.
i do not even like filling up near petrol cars because you can keep all the carcinogens they produce to yourself. diesels do not.
