156 key fob

i guy's new to the forum and alfaonwership, I have two keys with my car but neither of them have got any way of putting a key ring on them, I havelooked at pictures on ebay of key's and I think their ment to have a small metal loop at the end. Does anyone know if you can buy this part?

a very dirty car

If you are lucky you may find someone with a spare but they are commonly lost and you can't buy them separately.
You can put a lace or tie-wrap through the end of the key, or drill a small transverse hole at the end and fit a keyring.

The little metal bit that a keyring normally attaches to usually breaks off, so some people CAREFULLY drill a small hole through the plastic case at the end of the fob away from the circuit board, then put a keyring through it.

Mine's got a tiny cable tie on the end of it which then goes around the keyring...it still allows the key to fold closed.

...ahh,the joys of making do with Alfa Romeo !!
