Bilstein B12 Kit -bit at a time

Not wanting to argue the merits (which they both have) of the Bilstein/Eibach B12 kit and Koni/Eibach kit, for me it's the B12 kit.

Owing to the expense I'm looking to pick up the components a bit at a time and have just snapped up a pair of B8 front shocks on eBay for 163 which is more-or-less half price, for anyone else interested there are two more to he had here

All the best

Bilstein B8

Yes, I saw these last week, was thinking mmmmmmm, thought it was a no brainer and bought them tonight.

I am getting a 'new to me' 2.0 147 Lusso to replace my old 156 Sportwagon which has been accident damaged

The B8 seem to be the more sporty varient. Next to consider which springs to partner them with. I am not sure as the the exact merits of lowering, but would perhaps like a slightly firmer ride.

I may just install them with the standard springs initially and see how they go. I will polybush the upper suspension arms and anti roll bar while I am at it.
