I'd guess that the tracking may have been disturbed when you had the suspension off. May be worth a quick check.
Otherwise, have a look at the brakes. I'd guess one caliper is not doing it's thing properly (the car will pull towards the side that IS okay). That'd be totally coincidental to you tinkering.
If the "Th1ng" is two years away, then don't worry. It gives you plenty of time to devise a strategy.
1) Spend the next 24 months laughing out loud and pointing at whatever "Th1ng" you see. She'll work it out.
2) Hope the new 147 will look prettier and she may change her mind after all (seeing as she's a bird).
3) Knock her up, so when London66 Jnr turns up, the "Th1ng" will be too small, pokey and cramped (what do I mean "..WILL be.."!) for you all AND the kiddie seats.
It's a heavy price to pay... but these are desperate times, fella!
