2006 GT jtd milage/Gallon
Hi all, Did my first real long distance trip in the Alfa 11 hours travel time, did 1050km round trip from Innsbruck to Florence on a single tank. I didn't use cruse control to florence but used it most of the way comming back. Got 1050km (656 miles) out of the tank before the display stopped showing the estimated range left in the tank (which was showing at least 100km of estimated distance left (so in theory should have at least got 1150km,719miles).
Computer showed an average of 17km/liter or 48.3MPG (if I did my maths correctly???)
I tried to search what other people have gotten but either i'm searching for it under the wrong keywords or the forum search engine isn't too good.
Would have gotten better economy if I used cruise control the whole trip where posible, if there was no traffic jams on the motorways, if I didn't keep chasing after supercars that drove past me, if I didn't get lost and frustrated, didn't have the missus make me stop for toilet breaks, and if I didn't take the car to valet parking as they then had to take the car offsite somewhere for parking and I doubt they drive it economically.
Thought the car did well. Also I've driven up to Munich a few times and got the car upto 225km/hr (141m/hr) when wikipedia says it's top speed is 209km/hr (130m/hr).
