My indicator switch has started to work intermittantly and I have to push it in both directions to guarantee the indicators flash even though I've selected left or right. This extra pressure is easy enough to apply but I'm worried it won't pass next years MOT. Has anyone else had this and cured it fairly easily. I took the cowling off and couldn't see an easy way to get to the contacts etc?
thanks for the link. My problem only seems to happen when the temperature is high. This started in Italy last year when it was 46 degrees one day and then during this summer. All of a sudden it works everytime!!!? I think the clock spring is for things like the steering wheel controls and position sensor. I think the indicator control is a fairly conventional device but if anyone knows better please put me right!!
