Alfa 156 1.8TS

Hi all,

Since sometimes ago my 156 1.8 TS doesn't have the same power that had in the beginning.
I have connected to a Texa diagnostic machine and it said that the lambda was with defect.
We have tried to clear the error but after a while it appear again. The combustion was always lean or cold/open circuit. This diagnostic machine doesn't show the error codes. Only said bad lambda.

So i've install a new Bosch lambda. The errors disappeared during one week. Today, i ve connected the car to Alfadiag and i get the errors P1172 and P0130. I assume that the lambda is ok. it has only 1 week and is has 9 ohms resistence.

Althought not having a MAF error, could it be MAF ? If yes, is there any way to check it in order to avoid to a buy a new one without being necessary?

My car has also an erratic idle. Not always, but sometimes it has.

Can someone help me ?

Thank in advance

I had the p1172 error, but the lambda sensors were ok, so changing the MAF was the solution.

Simplest was to test for a MAF is to unplug it and see if you get the power back.

Hope Rodrigo hasn't been waiting 3-weeks for a reply though!
