Hi there, it was pretty easy to fit. No drilling. Start with the car on a flat surface.
You need to remove the four nuts (if using sockets, you'll need a deep
17mm socket as a regular one fouls the nut). Put the strut brace on and then replace the nuts. I was advised to use a dab of threadlock, so I did.
One AO member gave me the following advice, "If the bar is a tight fit you could jack the same side (as wont fit) REAR corner to widen the gap, or front corner to narrow it." I didn't need to do this.
Tightening has to be done carefully, each nut a bit in turn, as the brace will move if you tighten one nut too much and you won't be able get your socket in. There is contradictory advice on where to torque the nuts to.
People usually say something like 30-35 Nm but I have also seen 24-29 Nm and:
inner nuts (2 nearer engine) 24-29 Nm (18-21ftlb)
outer 2 nuts 40-49 Nm (30-36 ftlb)
The guy at the importer, who said he has MOMO brace on his own car, told me to "do them up nice and tight". That sounded like a good scheme to me!
By the way, shop around as the price people charge for these varies quite a lot. Good luck and best regards.
