My 147 develops a clap type sound at the near side rear when apply brakes medium to hard, for example approaching a roundabout on a dual carriage way, sometimes if sudden braking in built up area's. Braking power is perfect.
The following has been replaced recently at the rear.
1. Rear Discs and Pads
2. Both sets of rear transverse suspensuion arms
3. Both rear drop links.
4. Both rear anti roll bar bushes.
5. Strut lower bush on both rear sides.
6. Both rear trailing arms.
Rear springs are not broken, the rear top strut is secure, Rear near side wheel is good.
I do not know what else its can be, this clap type sound happened approx 1 month after having the above replaced items 1 - 5.
Item 6 had movement, these were replaced but clap type sound still there.
Any idea's or opinions or if you know the answer let me know, as this is really bugging me now
