Wiring Diagram Rear Lights (Colour Identifications) Needed

Fitted towbar to the alfa and want to wire up the socket now.

Just need to know what colour wire does what on the back lights, eg:

Yellow/ Black =
Blue/ Black =
Red/ Black =
Black =
Blue =

need brake light, side light and the indicators etc

Car is a 2004 facelift 156

Found this thread while looking for a solution to my own problem (same as yours!) failing the mighty AO.com get a multimeter and someone to sit and operate the controls while you see which wire gives voltage when indicators are operated etc.
Status: age is only a number ;-)

If I could be bothered I could walk outside and pop the covers off the rear lights and look at the wiring to the bulb holders......

mines all done, multi meter is quicker Did you get sorted in the end?
