Help possible climate control problem

Ive just noticed a damp patch in the drivers side footwell.
Im not sure what it could be or where the water may be coming from, but my immediate suspicion is the climate control.
I know it could end up being a right pain in the backside to find out the cause but has anybody else out there experienced the same thing.

Re: possible climate control problem

There was a question about a similar problem on a 156 in the Sunday Times motoring supplement last weekend. This said that leaks around the windscreen are quite common in the 156, especially as there is no rubber seal around the screen. These usually result in damp footwells. They recommended getting yourself down in the footwell and getting someone else to pour water over the windscreen, so you can see where the water is coming in behind the dash. Then it's off to Autoglass to get it sealed.....

Hope this helps!
