I just got some Pirelli P0 Rossos (225/40/18 92Y). The Michelins, are way too expensive here. Almost 3 x cost in U.K. But do rate Michelin PS2s (or 3s now) over the Pirellis which seem to wear more quickly (the 18s), and suffer tramlining when worn out. I had 2 sets of P0 Rossos before trying the Michelin PS2s. However, with Q2 fitted the tramlining is lot less obvious, totally negated. Interesting to see how these new Rossos will last. Definitely softer tyre, but damned if paying R3500 for one Michlein PS2, now superceded. Tyres are too expensive in RSA, but cannot compromise your tyres. I would also try the Continental CSC3s, seem to have good rating.
