Not Happy Alfa Number Plate Bolts

Some of you may have seen these advertised on ebay and like me may have thought "Are they any good? (For those who haven't a clue what I'm talking about, they replace the bolts that hold the number plate on and are chromed with an Alfa logo in the centre).
My opinion is that they are not particularly well finished and the Alfa logo is so small, it is not really visible to anyone unless they are really looking for it. Incidentally the logo on the bolts has the Alfa red cross on a green background, whereas on my car, it is on a white background. (Possible copyright reasons?).
So keep your 10.99 and put it towards your next cam belt replacement!

Re: Alfa Number Plate Bolts

Thanks for the tip.

I've actually called time on adding any more bits with the Alfa badge. After all, the car comes from the factory with quite a lot (wheels, bonnet, boot, steering wheel). I have added a tax disc holder which has a nice smallish Alfa badge on it.

I was tempted to add a gear-knob with the badge on but A) I famously can't get my knob off, if you'll pardon the expression, and B) Now that I've decided to take a hacksaw to my knob, I think one without the badge will be more tasteful.

There's a Richbrook one that has caught my eye.

Anyone, who is in any doubt that the car is an Alfa needs their head examining already! Best Regards.

Get ready for the Saturday night...
