stuck windows

Hi need a bit of help bought my 2002 156 s/wagon about
4 days ago 1 owner rear seats never been used have just found
both rear windows will not go up or down managed to get near side sort of working
by a bit of help but its very slow off side stuck fast can hear clicking in both doors
when pushing window switches

spray some silicon on the runners and try and work 'em up and down , try and help them with your hands . Their probably a bit siezed up thru lack of use , Maybe worth having the car running whilst you do it save flattening the battery ,

The 156 saloon/sportwagon are a bit notorious for sticking windows , my wagon was the same .Do a search you'll find plenty of threads ,

The GT on the other had has leccy windows that are possessed

Agree that Sportwagons in particular suffer from this as they have a larger glass / channel said, try getting someone else to operate the switch whilst you try to push the windows down with a palm on each side of the glass....and lube the runners if you get the windows moving....
