hey have just had the accumulator replaced and now after 4 weeks lost gears again as pump wasnt going but is running ok again now .
They did replace just the accumulator only, what do i need to do next as they want $1500nz for a pump.
As the pump goes sometimes and not others is it possable that its an electrical fault going to the pump.
The agency says the pump is noisy and needs replacing (i really dont trust them)

You could try to swap the relays for the pump, but it's not uncommon for the pump to fail together with the accumulator because for the extra start/stop stress. The carbon buildup on brushes makes it unreliable.

New pump ~$600NZ
New brushes

Is it normall for the pump to only operate some times ? When the pump doesnt go is when we have no gears.

I think when the brushes wear the pump won't start every time.
